The Georgian Collection

The Chillington is a handsome Georgian mantel that displays the popular 18th century device of inlaying a contrasting marble within a white statuary marble field. It has a carved corniced mantel shelf above a 'running' frieze inlaid with Azul Valende in a Greek Key pattern and jambs that terminate in delicately carved consoles.

The Fitzroy chimneypiece was selected by the Georgian Group to replace a pair of chimneypieces lost from its headquarters in Fitzroy Square in central London. The Georgian Group is the national charity dedicated to the preservation of Georgian building and gardens throughout Britain. Every yearthe Group helps save many important buildings and is instrumental in preserving Britain's unique architectural heritage.

The Blenheim is a grand fireplace in the style of William Chambers. It has fluted pilasters with Ionic capitals and a frieze which incorporates a central tablet with an urn and foliage.

The Clandon Bolection fireplace is based on a Queen Anne design from the beginning of the 18th century. Its simple uncluttered lines combined with generous curves make it very flexible for use anywhere. Also available in optional sizes-Please enquire for details.

A lovely example of an 18th century neo-classical mantel, the Northumberland shows the influence of Robert Adam. It has fluted Ionic columns supporting an entablature decorated with classical urns and ewers. Inset marble panels in contrasting colors can provide a striking contrast to the statuary marble.

The Athenian is manufactured in Statuary Marble with Etruscan Gold Travertine center panel and Ingrounds. This is a mantel of strong architectural form and good proportions.
